The Shelby Mustang is a high-performance vehicle from the Ford Mustang group of vehicles and is mainly produced by Shelby Manufacturers. The vehicle was built;t in the years 1964 TO 1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford manufacturers. Besides that, since the advent of the fifth generation of the Mustang vehicles, these vehicles featured a new brand name with better performance and overall design produced by Ford. These versions of the vehicle were regarded as the most compact of the original Shelby Vehicles. In most cases, they were often referred to as the Cobras, which were mainly powered by Ford AC sports cars and were built by Shelby during the same era. More importantly, each model features the unique Cobra logo and a similar paint structure with the optional valve being used on the various GT350s that were used in marketing at the time as well.
1967 Shelby G.T. 350 / G.T. 500
When it comes to the FT 350, this particular vehicle model was designed to feature a unique Cobra Aluminum Hi-rise and superior K-Code high performance for optimal results when on the road. In fact, the G.T 350 was official included in the lineup with various vehicles that featured the Ford Cobra V8 engine with unique carburetors and intake designs. The Shelby vehicles are well known for their exceptional performance and superior aerodynamics.
Any plans that were laid out to produce the convertible brand of the vehicle failed due to lack of sufficient resources and the financial complications that the company was still facing with its Shelby Flagship car models. As a result, Ford took over production officially in 1966 and relocated all their operations as well.
2016 Shelby Terlingua
The Shelby Terlingua is regarded as one of the only Mustang vehicles that are built with design qualities of a Ford Racing vehicle and is constructed as Tribute to the Terlingua Racing Team and their on track accolades.
This vehicle features a unique Whipple Supercharger engine that is rated and 5.0 L V8 and can produce well over 700HP. Furthermore, this car also features various upswings in design including improved coil overs, enhanced half shafts, enhanced exhaust and short throw shifter. More importantly, the car also comes with a special Brembo Big brake kit that is meant to offer excellent track results and 20-inch wheels.
2017 Shelby GTE
The latest model of the Mustang vehicles is the 2017 Shelby GTE that is available in a unique Ecoboost engine and a V8 engine as well. It’s important to note that the “E,” is an acronym for enhanced, which means more horsepower than the conventional Shelby GT vehicle. In fact, the enhanced performance is as a result of the various upgrades in Shelby Mustang Manufacturing. Some additional upgrades include the enhanced performance engine and the inclusion of the 19-inch wheels that are accompanied with special rim designs.
